Decorative Windchime

Summer is all about outdoors and colors! Learn how to make this cute. It doesn't make sound since I added decorative glass beads to the pot. I just love how it sparkles in the sun.

This is a super cheap and easy craft for toddlers. You need tiny terracotta pot, acrylic paint, paint sealant, silicone sealant, beads, floral wire, nylon string and open mind. All supplies can be bought at a Dollar Store.

Simply paint the pot with your design. I painted a dragonfly using a stencil I had on hand. Add glitter while the paint is still wet. Use UV Silicone Sealant to adhere the glass rocks. I attempted liquid fusion glue but it didn't withstand the heat from the sun.

Create a loop with gold beads from floral wire and glue the ends inside. The tail of beads is strung on nylon string and tied to the floral wire before it's glued.

Skip the glass beads and add small bells or a washer on the string of beads. When the wind blows it will make a small ding against the pot.
